Serve with Bethany

Members and friends of Bethany United Church of Christ are actively involved in finding ways to support those in need, both in our local community and beyond. Increasingly we also are working for justice at a structural level, advocating for equal opportunities and rights for all people.  If you're ready to feed, clothe, house, and stand in solidarity with people, check out the many Justice and Service events on our calendar.

On a regular basis, Bethany partners with The Night Ministry, to prepare and serve meals for those in need around the Chicagoland area. We also have worked with Ravenswood School to find ways to support their families in need. In 2017, we partnered with our neighbors at Pilgrim Lutheran to sponsor a refugee family through RefugeeOne. We are also a member congregation of Community Renewal Society, in order to participate in their mission of advocating for social and economic justice.

As we grow as a church, we are expanding our Justice and Service work. Have an idea for a partnership or project?  Bring it to the attention of Pastors Vince Amlin and Rebecca Anderson.

Order forms for these roses will be available in October.
