members-in-discernment

Members-in-Discernment are those seeking ordination who have been affirmed in that journey by the United Church of Christ. Bethany is pleased and proud to be part of the formation of so many new pastors and chaplains!

Kelli Manning, MDiv. (she/her) (Pastoral Intern 2024-2025)

Kelli seeks to walk with people in the unknowns, unexpected changes, and dynamic grief. Her career path leads her to hospital chaplaincy, eventually specializing in trauma 1 emergency department. As she is a Member in Discernment through the UCC, she will pursue her Chaplain Residency at Rush University Medical Center in the Fall of 2026.
